Keep dieing on my 55er Monk
Ok, i try to farm the Hellhounds in the Gates of Kryta Mission.
I am running the Classic I-Monk-Build, with Droks Armor, a Totem Axe and a -50HP Cestus. My Equipment and my Skills are perfect. Still i keep dieing. I do the following: Cast the 4 enchantments, cast HB and PS, aggro the Mobs, cast SoJ. As soon as there are more than 3-4 Mobs my health gets too low and the HB and PS needs to long to recharge and i die. Same happens outside Bergen Springs. What am i doing wrong? I can post Pictures if needed ... |

The original 55 monk can't stay alive with a lot of mobs. Drop healing prayers completely, run [skill]Shield Of Absorption[/skill] and [skill]Shielding Hands[/skill]. Having 1 up at all times will make you be able to tank as many foes as you want to. Go /D for [skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill] if you're facing degen.

Just to note, essence bond doesn't work with shielding hands, so take smite condition in stead, adds a nice amount of damage considering the conditions you'll be under.

Mystic Regeneration isn't available until end of NF, right?
And the Two Skills are instead of: Healing Breeze and Essence Bond, right? Will try later ... I am desperate to make some money, outfitting my chars and their heroes is getting da** expensive with time ... |

I think bleeding / poison is reducing your regen too much hence the deaths. What's your total regen (hb + mending) ? As mentioned above, try mystic regen (unlock it with some faction).
[skill]Shield of Absorption[/skill] + [skill]Blessed Aura[/skill] will also help you tank a lot. Blessed Aura will also make soj last longer so mobs will die sooner. |

btw, I found out by experience and personal flavor to just run 105hp (not needing the -50 hp cesta) and have a 20/20 prot offhand handier and more effective for gates of kryta HM.
but I changed some stuff on the build to be able to tackle all the bosses aswell. |

*dumb me* i unlocked it with Factions and used a Dervish Tome to get it lol
I am rumbling through Kryta now, drops are bad though. Thanks for your help guys! |
